Articulating jib crane projects for cartons and plastic trays in tight spaces
The articulating jib crane has a two-section boom that folds, so the tool reaches around columns and machines and into corners that a straight boom cannot. Most projects here lift cartons with vacuum lifters; others pick 50 kg plastic trays with an air balancer, lift sacks and CNC molds, use duckbill grippers, or lift and turn material rolls.
The boom usually carries an air balancer or horizontal air hoist, compact and easy to guide. Mobile bases move between stations, some posts adjust in height, and in an assembly shop the crane hangs from the ceiling to keep the floor clear.
