FullSharp supplied a Lifts All articulating jib crane on a mobile base with a vacuum lifting head for cartons, for a packing area that moves with each order. The unit is pushed to where it is needed and locked in place, then the 360-degree articulating arm and vacuum tool work just like a fixed station.
Packing areas often move with the order — packing at the line's start today, at the warehouse tomorrow. Equipment bolted to the floor ends up in the wrong spot as soon as the production layout changes.
