A customer manufacturing vacuum components in a cleanroom needed a compact crane to lift parts weighing several hundred kilograms from pallets onto machine tables and back. The cleanroom doesn't allow a fixed overhead crane, the epoxy floor can't be drilled, aisles are narrow, and the equipment has to be light enough for one person to move to each workstation.
FullSharp supplied a 400 kg semi-automatic mini crane: electric lifting/lowering and boom rotation, moved by pushing by hand. For this project, the customer attached an electric tow tractor to the back of the crane, so when it needs to move to another area or carry a heavy part over a distance, the crane travels entirely on electric power, without having to buy the more expensive fully automatic crane model.
FullSharp 400kg mini crane in the customer's cleanroom, with the electric tow tractor behind it used to move the crane electrically.
The specifications above are for the 400 kg configuration used in this project. FullSharp also offers 500 kg and 1,000 kg semi-automatic mini cranes, as well as a fully automatic electric mini crane line.
No floor drilling, no ceiling mounting — it moves through a standard door into the cleanroom and can be relocated if the layout changes.
The compact base and boom that rotates both sides let you pick up and set down loads without turning the whole crane.
Electric lifting and rotation, plus electric towing for travel, mean the operator never needs manual strength at any step.
FullSharp surveys the part to be lifted, its height and reach, aisle width, floor type, and how often it needs to move, to select the right configuration: push, push paired with an electric tow tractor, or fully automatic electric drive. Units are available in stock, with load testing and operating instruction provided at your plant. See more semi-automatic mini crane projects already installed.
