This plant machines ring-shaped steel billets weighing a few dozen kilos each. They sit on pallets, in racks and on benches, and operators were bending to lift and place them all day long. The owner wanted a device one person could run, fast enough to keep up with the work rhythm and with no electricity.
FullSharp installed a 50 kg FullSharp air balancer articulating arm on a mobile base, fully pneumatic. The two-section jointed arm reaches out, folds back and works around columns and benches easily. A pneumatic billet gripper hangs from the arm: the operator holds the handle, puts the jaws into the billet bore, clamps, lifts, swings and sets it down. The air balancer moves as fast or as slowly as the operator's hand, ideal for lifting billets over and over through the shift.

Clamping, lifting, swinging and placing a billet takes one operator, without bending for each piece.
The air balancer follows the operator's hand, keeping up a continuous lifting rhythm through the shift without overheating.
Only the plant air line is needed, safe for oily, chip-filled areas.
Send FullSharp photos of your billets, their dimensions, the heaviest weight and the station layout. We will survey your site, choose the arm reach and design a gripper to fit your parts, with a free quotation.
