5T rail 200 kg: lifting solution for steel doors

A steel door workshop has to lift each door panel onto the work table, flip it to weld and paint the other side, then stand it upright in the dispatch area. Steel doors are heavy and wide and the paint scratches easily; carrying them by hand takes several people and risks pinched hands and back injuries.

FullSharp installed a 5T rail system rated 200 kg on a steel frame over the work area, with a remote-controlled COMEUP electric hoist on the bridge and a pneumatic vacuum tool below. The operator places the tool on the door, switches on the vacuum, lifts it, tilts the panel from horizontal to vertical in the air and moves it to where it is needed.

Installed equipment

5T rail rated 200 kg: red 5T-section steel rail on a support frame, letting the hoist travel along and across the work area.
COMEUP electric hoist: mounted on the bridge trolley, smooth lifting, with power cable and air hose carried on sliding hangers.
Wireless remote: up, down, start and emergency stop buttons, so the operator stays clear of the panel while lifting.
Pneumatic vacuum tool: control box with a vacuum gauge; the handle has suction/release and horizontal/vertical tilt switches to rotate the door.
Air receiver tank: keeps the compressed air supply stable for the vacuum tool.
