Plastic crates and industrial baskets holding components, food or produce weigh 15 to 50kg each and are stacked many levels high. Workers lift, reach up and twist thousands of times per shift, leading to shoulder, neck and back pain and falling productivity toward the end of the shift.

FullSharp designs several lines of crate gripping equipment for different working environments: pneumatic handles on jib cranes for fixed workstations, cleanroom electric lifters for mobile areas, and rotating grippers for tipping in the food industry. Female operators can also handle the work easily.

  • Pneumatic crate gripping handle: clamps both sides of the crate, lifts 20 to 60kg, push-button grip and release, mounted on a jib crane or overhead rail. See Pneumatic jib crane.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can different crate sizes share one unit?

Yes. The jaw opening adjusts to the crate width, or quick-change tools are used when crate sizes differ widely.

Can two or three stacked crates be lifted at once?

Yes, a gripper holding the bottom crate lifts the whole stack, with capacity selected by total weight.

What if the workstation has no compressed air?

Use a battery-powered electric lifter or an electric manipulator. FullSharp advises based on the actual plant layout.
