Roll lifting and tilting projects for film, fabric, coils and air shafts
Rolls are awkward: round, heavy at one point, and often turned between vertical and horizontal. These projects handle film and fabric rolls, copper wire coils in motor winding shops and cable reels in a fiber optic plant. On air shaft machines, a manipulator grips the shaft and pulls it out of the core; one unit tilts 250 kg rolls with a motor.
Warehouses and cleanrooms use push-type electric lifters that clamp or take the core and rotate a 300 kg roll in place. Lines use roll clamps under air balancers on 5T rails rated 200 kg. See material roll handling.
