500 kg rail jib crane projects loading steel plates and wood panels onto cutters
Most 500 kg jib cranes stand next to laser cutters and CNC machines. Steel plates and wood panels are picked from a rack or a stack, then the boom swings them straight onto the machine bed. The vacuum lifters vary: electric, battery-powered, pneumatic, or mechanical with no power or air needed; one model turns the panel through 360 degrees.
Beyond panels, these booms carry electric hoists with a core tool for upending rolls, rim and wheel grippers, and carton grippers. In tight corners the crane is wall-mounted; one project is installed outdoors, and a 1 ton version lifts glass panels.
