Large glass panels are heavy and hazardous, and even four workers carrying together struggle to apply even force. A slight misalignment or a knock on the edge can crack the panel, causing major loss and risk to nearby workers.

FullSharp installed a 1-ton jib crane with a suspended hoist and a vacuum lifting pad for panels. The suction cups grip evenly across the glass surface, the hoist lifts it, and the swinging arm carries the panel to the installation point, with the operator only guiding direction.

1-Ton Jib Crane with Hoist and Vacuum Lifting Pad for Glass Panels

A 1-ton jib crane with a suspended hoist and vacuum lifting pad lifting a glass panel at the workshop.

Equipment Installed

  • 1-ton jib crane: the column and swing arm are sized for a 1-ton load, covering the work area around the glass table.
  • Suspended hoist: slow, precisely-stopping lift and lower, suited to fragile loads such as glass.
  • Vacuum lifting pad for panels: a frame with multiple suction cups spread evenly to distribute grip across the whole glass surface.
  • Vacuum power unit and holding valve: maintains vacuum level and alarms if pressure drops below a safe threshold.

Key Specifications

  • Jib crane load capacity1 ton
  • Swing angle360 degrees
  • Tool typeVacuum lifting pad for panels

Benefits for the Factory

Fewer people needed

One or two people now replace the whole group that used to carry the glass.

No more cracked glass

Suction is spread evenly across the surface instead of concentrating at the edges or corners.

Places the panel exactly

The swing arm helps align the panel into a frame or machine table without lifting it again.

Consulting for Your Factory

FullSharp needs the largest glass size, thickness, and weight to calculate the number of suction cups. Our engineers survey the floor plan, fix the column position and reach, then install, load-test, and guide the vacuum check procedure for every shift.
