One of the customer's stations must handle several different goods within the same shift: sometimes sacks, sometimes carton boxes, sometimes pallet sheets. Each type needs a different grip, forcing workers to constantly switch technique and tire quickly. Buying a separate machine for each type wasn't practical.
FullSharp installed an articulating jib crane with a horizontal air balancer and a Becker vacuum suction head. The pneumatic balancer holds the load floating in air, so the operator only needs to push to position it. Swapping the suction head lets the same system handle sacks, pallets, and carton boxes alike.
An articulating jib crane fitted with a horizontal air balancer and Becker suction head, used to lift sacks and carton boxes in the factory.
Simply swap the suction head to switch between sacks, pallets, and carton boxes, with no need for extra equipment.
The air balancer cancels out most of the load's weight, so wrists and shoulders bear almost no strain.
The load-holding valve activates the instant air pressure drops, so goods never fall onto anyone below.
FullSharp reviews the actual goods to be lifted, the contact surface, and the heaviest weight to select the suction head and air balancer size. Our engineers also check the factory's available air pressure and flow rate before finalizing the configuration. Contact FullSharp to schedule a site survey.
