Jib Crane with Air Balancer and Becker Suction

One of the customer's stations must handle several different goods within the same shift: sometimes sacks, sometimes carton boxes, sometimes pallet sheets. Each type needs a different grip, forcing workers to constantly switch technique and tire quickly. Buying a separate machine for each type wasn't practical.

FullSharp installed an articulating jib crane with a horizontal air balancer and a Becker vacuum suction head. The pneumatic balancer holds the load floating in air, so the operator only needs to push to position it. Swapping the suction head lets the same system handle sacks, pallets, and carton boxes alike.

Equipment Installed

Articulating jib crane: a multi-jointed arm folds and extends flexibly, reaching hidden spots a straight arm can't cover.
Horizontal air balancer: balances the load with compressed air, making it feel weightless so a light push raises or lowers it as needed.
Becker vacuum pump: strong, even suction that grips well on both woven sack surfaces and cardboard.
Interchangeable suction head: swap the head to match the goods type, sharing the same hanging frame for quick tool changes.
Safety valve for pressure loss: holds vacuum and keeps the load when air pressure drops, preventing sudden drops.
