Molds loaded into CNC machines are both heavy and expensive; even a light knock against the machine wall scratches the mold surface and sends it off for repair. The tight clearance around the machine also means ordinary lifting equipment can't bring the mold in at the right angle.

FullSharp installed a Lifts All articulating jib crane with a vacuum head. The multi-segment folding arm reaches around the machine body, keeping the mold balanced while the operator guides it into its mounting slot slowly and precisely.

Equipment Installed

Lifts All articulating arm: independently folding segments that route around obstacles to bring the mold into the machine's interior.
Vacuum head: the suction cup grips the mold's flat surface without clamping the edges, so it leaves no marks.
Load balancer: keeps the mold suspended at any height; releasing the hand leaves the mold hanging in place.
Vacuum safety valve: holds the vacuum if air supply or power is lost, so the mold doesn't drop freely.
