The customer's assembly station picks and places parts hundreds of times each shift. The part is not very heavy, but the constant repetition tires the operator's wrists and shoulders as the shift goes on, and accuracy drops as a result. The part also has a specific shape, so a standard clamp often failed to hold the correct orientation.
FullSharp installed an articulating jib crane with a built-in air balancer, rated up to 50 kg. The pneumatic balancer cancels out nearly all the weight, so the operator only guides it with their fingertips. The gripping tool is custom-built for the part, holding the correct orientation and releasing quickly.

The pneumatic balancer carries most of the load, so repeated handling through a full shift causes no fatigue.
The load stays still when released, so the part lands in the right position on the first try.
The custom gripper holds firmly in the correct orientation, with no need to twist and readjust by hand.
FullSharp reviews the actual part and the work rhythm to select the right air balancer size and gripping tool style. Our engineers measure reach and working height and check the compressed air supply at the station. Contact FullSharp to schedule a survey.
