These projects start from what must be done with the sheet: moving steel sheets from the rack to CNC and laser cutters, tilting wood panels 90 or 360 degrees, turning glass panels, and lifting steel doors and cement boards. The load is carried by a jib crane, a 500 kg rail, a 1 ton gantry crane or a manipulator, with a vacuum lifter as the head.
Glass must be tilted and positioned, so we used manipulators instead of cranes. For steel sheets some shops chose a manual magnet, and light foam boards use a clamp tool. See vacuum lifting pads.
