Jib Crane 200kg Steel Rail Flips Wood Panels

Wood panels weighing around 30 kg are both heavy and bulky, so even two workers carrying one together can easily knock a corner and scratch the coating. Flipping the panel is even harder, since there is nowhere to set it down in between.

FullSharp installed a 200 kg steel-rail jib crane with a 5 m reach, fitted with a flip-function vacuum lifter. The pad grips the panel, lifts it, and flips it 180 degrees in mid-air, so the worker only has to push it on to the next machine.

Equipment Installed

5 m, 200 kg steel rail: forms the reach arm for the trolley to run along, covering the full length of the work table.
Flip-function vacuum lifter: multiple suction cups spread evenly across the frame hold the panel flat and flip it to the other side.
Vacuum pump: keeps the vacuum level stable, with a valve to hold vacuum if power is lost.
Column swivel joint: swings the whole reach arm toward the panel storage area or the machine, stopping wherever the operator needs.
