Sheet-metal shops move sheets from pallets into machines many times each shift. Carrying them by hand lets the sheet sag, sharp edges can cut hands, and the surface scratches when dragged across racks. The factory floor is already packed with machines, leaving no room for floor-standing lifting equipment.
FullSharp installed a 500 kg ceiling-mounted rail running the length of the work line for vacuum sheet handling. Sheets are lifted straight up and pushed along the rail to the machine, without carrying them around the walkway. The whole system sits overhead, so the floor space below stays untouched.

Equipment Installed
- 500 kg rated rail: a ceiling-mounted rail beam following the exact work line, with length sized to the area it serves.
- Suspension rods and brackets: rods sized to the load and fixed to the load-bearing structure, with suspension points spaced evenly.
- Rail trolley: wheels roll along the rail flange, so a light push moves the load the full length of the line.
- Vacuum sheet-lifting head: the pad grips the sheet surface, lifting it flat without leaving clamp marks at the edges.
- End stops at both ends of the rail: limit the trolley's travel so it cannot run off the working line.
