Manipulator for Flipping Glass Panels

Glass panels are heavy and slippery, so carrying them by hand takes two to three workers and edges still chip easily. Flipping a panel over for inspection or further processing raises the risk of breakage and cut hands even more.

FullSharp installs an articulating manipulator with a vacuum pad built for flat glass surfaces. The 360-degree rotating joint and flipping mechanism turn the glass panel 180 degrees on the spot. One operator holding the control handle is enough to lift, rotate, and place the glass onto the rack.
