Large glass, sheet metal, or plastic panels need to move between the cutting machine and the inspection table. Carrying them by hand takes two people, the panel vibrates with every step, and a single bump chips the edge.

FullSharp installed an aluminum rail along the processing area, with a pneumatic hoist and a vacuum lifting pad hanging below. The panel is held flat and level, then slides along the rail to the next position.

Equipment Installed

  • 200 kg aluminum rail: a lightweight formed aluminum rail, simply ceiling-mounted, with the trolley sliding very smoothly.
  • Pneumatic hoist: lifts and lowers via air valve, stopping at any height and holding the load when released.
  • Vacuum lifting pad: a rubber base attaches to the panel surface, distributing the holding force evenly across the suction area.
  • Valve and air gauge assembly: filters and stabilizes incoming air pressure, clearly indicating when there's enough vacuum to lift the panel.
