ANVER ergonomic vacuum lifting systems

ANVER is a leading US manufacturer of vacuum tube lifting systems, with a wide range of vacuum tube lifters and replacement parts. Every system is built for years of production use.

The system grips, lifts and lowers the load by vacuum with a single operator control. Vacuum pads hold the surface, so parts are not scratched or dented the way they can be with manual lifting or mechanical grippers.

FullSharp is an authorized ANVER distributor: configuration advice, quotations, load testing and installation support.

How it works and how to choose

How it works

ANVER VT vacuum tube lifters are designed for continuous duty and can make several lifts per minute.

A remote vacuum pump creates suction in the lift tube and operator control. When the pad touches the load, vacuum holds the surface. As vacuum increases the lift tube contracts and raises the load; reducing vacuum with the control lets the tube extend and lower the load safely.

FullSharp recommends sending sample parts for a load test, or testing directly at a FullSharp facility.

Factors that affect lifting capacity

  • Weight and material of the load (non-porous, semi-porous or porous)
  • Surface area available for the vacuum pad
  • Shape of the load (loose, bulky, off-center...)
  • Type of vacuum pump (air flow, vacuum level)
  • Vacuum level achieved
  • Size and style of the vacuum pad
  • Vacuum safety factor (ratio of lift tube diameter to pad area)
