Carton Box Lifting Solutions

Quick answer: Cartons of 10–70 kg on packaging lines are best lifted with a vacuum tube lifter (FULLSHARP or ANVER): it grips the top of the box and lifts and lowers with one hand at 4–8 boxes per minute. Light boxes up to 25 kg can use a pneumatic vacuum pad on a pneumatic jib crane. Very heavy boxes, soft boxes or weak lids call for a carton clamp tool that grips both sides of the box.

Why use lift assist for carton boxes?

At the end of a packaging line, operators stack boxes from conveyors onto pallets thousands of times per day. A 15–30 kg box does not look heavy, but the repeated bend–lift–twist movement is a leading cause of back, shoulder and wrist pain. Vacuum tube lifters: FULLSHARP and ANVER

A vacuum tube lifter grips and lifts: squeeze the handle to contract the tube and lift, release to lower. The box feels weightless and the operator simply guides it. Ergonomic handles and suction feet

Single handle: one-hand operation and high speed for small and medium boxes.
Double handle: two-hand control for large, long or heavy boxes.
Long side handle: reaches the bottom pallet layer without bending.
Side-suction foot: grips the side wall when the top has tape, open flaps or boxes are packed tightly.
Multi-pad quick-change foot: switch between cartons, sacks and plastic crates in seconds.

Handles have speed control and release buttons at elbow height so the wrist stays straight. Combined with a jib crane or low-friction aluminium rail, the horizontal push force is only a few kilograms.

Light boxes under 25 kg: pneumatic vacuum pad

For light boxes, FullSharp uses a pneumatic vacuum pad on a pneumatic jib crane: no electric pump, compact, durable and lower cost than a vacuum tube lifter. Ideal where compressed air is available and cycle rates are moderate.

Very heavy boxes: carton clamp tool

Boxes with metal parts over 70 kg, soft boxes or lids too weak to vacuum lift are handled with a carton clamp tool: two air-cylinder jaws grip both side walls and can support the base. The tool hangs from a 500 kg jib crane or rail with a pneumatic or electric hoist.
