Overview

An electric hoist with the patented SDS dual chain system of the D-Series servo hoist and a simple analog handle that needs minimal training. A 100 lbs 120VAC version is also available.

Knight’s new SDS SPEED HOIST is an electric hoist containing many of the same features as the D-Series Servo Hoist including the patented “safety drop stop” dual chain system. Additionally, it utilizes a simple analog handle with an UP/DOWN thumb switch, ensuring that the hoist can be operated with minimal training. The handle provides the user with the ability to control graduated movement as well as acceleration and deceleration of the hoist.

An ethernet port on the handle allows for the use of the Knight Servo Studio software. With this, many user parameters can be setup for easy customization of height, slow down zones, and speed control of the hoist.

Additionally, the SPEED HOIST includes a drop-in graphite stick inside of the gear tower to ensure lubrication of the chains. Replacement sticks can be ordered separately.

The SPEED HOIST has capacities up to 1,000 lbs [453kg] and can travel as fast as 50 inches per second (unloaded). Combined with the “SDS” feature, Knight’s SPEED HOIST is the safest AND most efficient hoist in the industry.

Knight Global's KDSA1010 and KDSA1011 SDS Servo Hoist Chain Replacement Kits are developed in conjunction with Pewag to ensure optimal strength and wear. Knight Global is the only (IAD) Intelligent Assist Device company in the world to use chain in its products. Knight's KDSA1010 and KDSA1011 patented chain is adapted to the requirements through a special heat treatment technology, in which we case harden our chain to promote extended wear and strength. Knight's Servo Hoist chains are electro galvanized to protect against corrosion and treated in a chromating which increases corrosion protection. Servo chains are ideal chain for high-wear applications and high dynamic chain loads.

KSAA1004Shackle

Details

Secures fixtures and loads in-line with the Servo System chain. The KSAA1004 Shackle is normally attached below the load cell. Knight's Shackle features a female clevis for direct connections. The KSAA1004 Shackles are constructed of 4140 steel, and heat treated to Rock "C" 38-42. They have (2) two M6 steel dowel pins to capture, verses threaded rod and a M5 cross hole with retaining plates. Shackle is normally attached below the load cell handle.

Details

Bolt-on design that attaches to the servo hoists load trolley. The KSAA1011 Rail Brake is typically used when the operator needs to lock the servo hoist from moving in the bridge or runway rail. The locking feature allows the operator to accurately load and unload parts. The KSAA1011 servo hoist parking brake is also designed to be used as a drag brake, but a regulator is needed to supply air pressure to the cylinder. Servo Hoist Rail Brake can be mounted facing the front or rear of the Servo Hoist depending on the applications specific braking requirements.

The KCA1041 Electrical Straight cable provides a robust method of communicating from the OCI (Operator Control Interface) module to the LMM (Load monitoring Module). It does not require any drilling into posts, but instead includes beam clamps.

The KCA1055 5KVA Electrical Disconnect Enclosures converts 480VAC to 240VAC for powering the Knight Global servo hoists. This panel comes with an industrial flange disconnect and provides a means to lock out the system when time for maintenance. It also includes a 5KVA finger safe transformer, primary and secondary fusing for your dual and triple servo products. (i.e., Knight KSHXY, KSHXZ, KSHTCDM, KSHXYZ Servo Tractors and Hoists).
