The SDS Speed Hoist is the latest electric hoist from Knight and shares many features with the D-Series Servo Hoist, including the patented dual-chain safety system "Safety Drop Stop" (SDS). It uses a simple analog handle with UP/DOWN buttons, so operators need minimal training. The handle provides jog control and adjustable acceleration/deceleration.

The Ethernet port on the handle connects to Knight Servo Studio software to set parameters: height limits, slow-down zones and hoist speed control. An integrated graphite lubrication stick in the gearbox keeps the chain continuously lubricated. Load capacity up to 453 kg — maximum speed 50 in/sec with no load.
