Overview

The Knight E-Float Hoist® is a low-profile, high-performance servo hoist that offers Float Mode without an inline load cell, ideal where overhead space is limited.

Knight’s E-Float Hoist® is a high-performance servo hoist designed for flexible and efficient material handling. It includes Knight’s intuitive Float Mode without requiring an inline load cell. Its design is very low-profile, reducing stack-up and making it an ideal solution for environments where space is limited. The hoist supports a maximum lifting capacity of up to 300 lbs.

The hoist features a sealed gearbox that ensures durability and smooth operation. Its structure is modular, allowing for quick and easy access during inspections or maintenance, should it ever be required.

E-Float Hoists are available in multiple configurations, offering the choice to lift with link chain or wire rope, controlling the lift in float mode, or one of the several pendant handle options. Additionally, there is an option to order an E-Float Hoist+, which offers added features such as custom tooling integration, custom programming, and I/O capabilities.

The KCA1214 2-button Lever Style Analog Remote Control Handle is one of the handle choices for Knight's E-Float Hoist®. It has an UP/DOWN thumb levers to control movement and speed of the hoist. This handle provides the user with the ability to easily control movement using the programmable variable speed levers. An ethernet port on the handle allows for the use of the Knight Servo Studio software. Details

The KLCA1080 incorporates the latest in design that includes our patented load cells with integral amplifier for noise immunity, connectors for operator interface and an improved clevis mount with cross pinning to eliminate the need for threaded rod, for connecting devices below the handle grip. The KLCA1080 is a programmable load sensing handle that mounts inline of the chain on the system. The inline handle offers an inherent intuitive motion.

The KLCA1080's actuation trigger prevents the system from any unintentional movement. The operator has to depress the trigger to initiate any up or down movement. The KLCA1080 is smaller in size and weight, which creates a more ergonomic operator condition. The trigger is a feather touch, so it requires very little force to actuate. New servo software code for the trigger enables the handle speed to change direction faster, requiring less force to move up and down.

The KLCA1080 Inline Control handle with Trigger has increased responsiveness, to meet the demands of high production rates with little effort.

The KLCA1080 handle top hat connects our 4mm KDSA1010 or 5mm KDSA1011 servo chain.

Knight's Rotary Unions (patent pending) are designed for industrial automation equipment applications. Their primary function is to prevent airlines, electrical cables and SDS chains from winding or tangling up during operation which can greatly reduce downtime as well as any potential equipment damage. The KSAA1068 and KSAA1069 Electropneumatic Knight Rotary Unions are for Speed Hoists with a 200 lbs. or 400 lbs. capacity. They include a 4mm chain nest for the S.D.S. chains as well as a KSAA1004 Shackle. Used in conjunction with the KCA1110 or KCA1119 Variable Speed Pendants. The KSAA1068 Rotary Union has up to (7) pneumatic passages (1/8″ NPT ports) to accommodate a variety of function commands (i.e. Common, Clamp, Unclamp, Rotate, Tilt, Start, etc.). Details

Bolt-on design that attaches to the servo hoists load trolley. The KSAA1011 Rail Brake is typically used when the operator needs to lock the servo hoist from moving in the bridge or runway rail. The locking feature allows the operator to accurately load and unload parts. The KSAA1011 servo hoist parking brake is also designed to be used as a drag brake, but a regulator is needed to supply air pressure to the cylinder. Servo Hoist Rail Brake can be mounted facing the front or rear of the Servo Hoist depending on the applications specific braking requirements.

Details

The KCA1040 Electrical Coil cable provides a robust method of communicating from the OCI (Operator Control Interface) module on the floor level, to the servo controls up on the rail. The coil cable is made up of a high resistant PVC and has proved the test of time. The four inch coil connects the In-Line Handle or (LMM) Load Monitoring Module in a clean and compact package by wrapping around the Servo Hoist Chain. The KCA1040 Coiled Cable is made exclusively for Knight with 19-Pin Military style connectors and is available in various cable lengths. Knight's KCA1040 coiled cable is provided in many lengths, with specified lengths being the total. For example a 3ft coil will stretch to 3ft. See product features for all part numbers.

It does not require any drilling into posts, but instead includes beam clamps.

The KCA1003 Electrical Disconnect Enclosure Stand is for the mounting of a PDP (Power Distribution Panel) to provide an ergonomically positioned height for the flange disconnect handle. It is equipped with an over-sized cross brace for front and side air prep. It also features an additional side plate space used to mount ancillary controls such as a lighting disconnect. The stand allows for multiple adjustment heights. PDP Box Not Included.
