Articulating Jib Crane with Air Balancer for Cartons

The ceiling in the work area is low, so mounting an upright balancer would leave too little headroom and lifting travel. Carton boxes still need to be raised and lowered constantly, so workers can't keep carrying them by hand all shift.

FullSharp chose a horizontal FullSharp air balancer mounted on the articulating arm to save on height. The whole unit sits on a hand-push mobile base, with a vacuum lifting pad gripping the box surface and holding the load suspended so the operator can position it precisely.

Equipment installed

Horizontal air balancer: mounted lengthwise on the arm, taking up minimal height, suited to low-ceiling workshops.
Articulating arm: two folding sections that bring the suction head into pallet corners and against walls.
Hand-push mobile base: casters and counterweight let one person push the unit to another area, with a locking pin during work.
Vacuum lifting pad: suction cups suited to carton surfaces, gripping firmly and releasing quickly when placing the box down.
