A carton packing area sits against a wall with a column in the way, so a straight arm cannot reach every pick point. Cartons still need to be lifted and set down continuously, and doing it by hand all shift wears out the operator.

FullSharp installs an articulating jib crane with two folding arm segments that swing around the column and reach in against the wall. The working end is an ANVER vacuum tube lifter: press the suction pad onto the carton lid and pull the handle, with no electric motor needed.

Equipment Installed

  • Articulating jib crane: two independently swiveling arm segments cover blind corners behind columns.
  • ANVER vacuum tube lifter: the bellows tube both creates vacuum and lifts, with a release valve on the handle for setting cartons down gently.
  • Carton suction head: a soft pad grips the carton lid without tearing the paper surface.
  • Vacuum generator: air-powered, with a check valve that holds the carton if the air supply is lost.
