Packing areas are usually crowded with people and forklifts passing through, so adding a floor-standing equipment column gets in the way. Carton boxes have to move constantly between the conveyor, packing table and pallet. Doing it by hand keeps the rhythm uneven, and things slow down noticeably by the end of the shift.
FullSharp installs an overhead ceiling rail to guide the vacuum lifter along the work area. The whole system stays overhead, so the floor remains clear for forklifts and walkways. The suction pad grips the box surface, and a light push along the rail brings it to the right spot.
Overhead rail guiding a vacuum lifter for carton box handling in the plant's packing area.
With no floor-standing column, forklifts and foot traffic move freely.
The equipment stays right over the work area, ready when needed instead of being dragged around.
The rail line can be extended to match the warehouse layout as the packing area grows.
FullSharp checks the ceiling structure, clear height and box weight to calculate the brackets and hanger spacing. Our engineers mark out the rail line along the actual product flow before finalizing its length. Contact FullSharp for an on-site survey.
