A packing line has to handle carton boxes non-stop, some can be gripped, while others only hold securely with a flat-surface vacuum pad. Doing it by hand all shift tires the operators, and the line speed drifts down toward the end of the shift. This area also has no floor space left for equipment standing on the ground.
FullSharp installs a 5T rail rated at 200 kg overhead, suspending a pneumatic jib crane with a box gripper tool and a vacuum pad for carton boxes. The jib crane runs on compressed air, so it responds quickly, lifting and placing evenly and gently. Workers pick the gripper tool or the vacuum pad depending on the box type running.
5T rail suspending a pneumatic jib crane with a box gripper tool and a vacuum pad for carton boxes at the packing area.
Sturdy boxes get gripped, boxes with a good flat surface get suction, no need to switch equipment systems.
Light-touch handling keeps packing speed even at the end of the shift, same as the start.
The system hangs overhead, so the packing floor stays clear for pallets and carts.
FullSharp surveys the rail line length, ceiling height and mounting points on the roof structure. Our engineers measure each box type, weigh the actual load, and check the available compressed air supply to split the work between the gripper tool and the vacuum pad. After the survey, we provide a layout drawing along with a construction schedule.
