Pneumatic Manipulator with Vacuum Head

Large material panels usually need two people to lift, and even after lifting, the edge still has to be aligned before it can be placed on the machine table. Doing this all shift tires the arms, slows the work pace and often chips the edge on impact. The panel surface also picks up marks from hands and ropes.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic manipulator with a vacuum lifting head right at the work position. The manipulator cancels almost all the weight, so the worker only needs a light push to guide the panel. A vacuum-loss sensor keeps the panel from slipping while suspended.

Equipment Installed

Manipulator body: a pneumatic cylinder balances the load, holding the panel steady in mid-air at any height along the stroke.
Vacuum lifting head: suction cups arranged to match the panel size, gripping a flat surface firmly without leaving marks.
Rotating and articulated joint mechanism: guides the panel in multiple directions, aligning the edge before lowering it onto the machine table.
Control handle: lift, lower and release buttons within reach, letting one person complete the whole cycle.
Vacuum-loss alarm: warns when pressure drops and holds the load, limiting the risk of dropping the panel mid-way.
