FullSharp supplied a pneumatic manipulator fitted with a vacuum lifting pad that grips large flat sheets up to 150 kg and tilts them from horizontal to vertical right on the equipment. One operator handles the whole lift, tilt and lowering from the handle, and the sheet stays held by suction the entire time, so it does not bend, slip or get dented.

A large flat sheet is hard to hold, with sharp edges and a tendency to bend when two people carry it from opposite ends. Tilting a sheet from horizontal to vertical is even riskier, since the force concentrates on one side, and a single slip can damage the sheet or cause an accident.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic manipulator fitted with a vacuum lifting pad, gripping the sheet by suction and allowing it to tilt vertically right on the equipment. With a lifting capacity of up to 150 kg, one operator controls it from the handle, and the sheet stays held firmly throughout the rotation and lowering.

Equipment Installed

  • Pneumatic manipulator: carries the sheet's weight, with the operator only guiding it up and down.
  • Control handle: gathers the suction, release, and tilt buttons in one place, for continuous operation without switching hands.
  • Backup vacuum reservoir: holds the vacuum for a short time if air pressure drops, preventing the sheet from falling suddenly.
