Monitors arm movement to prevent operating errors that could injure the operator. The arm keeps working if the air supply is cut or a hose breaks, so the workpiece is not dropped during operation. A check valve keeps the workpiece from falling out in the event of any air leak or operating error. Automatic brakes at the joints stop the arm exactly in position, keeping it safe when the operator lets go of the control handle. Keeps the workpiece locked while suspended in mid-air, even if the operator presses "release".
