Most plants handle two kinds of loads: flat sheets that are hard to sling, and separate parts that must be hooked and lifted. Buying two separate lifting systems costs both space and investment. But with only a hook crane, lifting a sheet means threading slings every time, which takes a long time.
FullSharp builds a jib crane on a rail and fits both a pneumatic vacuum plate lifter and a 100 kg electric hoist onto the same system. For flat loads, the operator presses the vacuum pad against the sheet and lifts; for loose parts, the hoist hook does the job, with no need to swap equipment.
Rail-mounted jib crane with a pneumatic vacuum plate lifter and electric hoist inside the plant.
Sheet loads and sling-rigged loads share the same crane, cutting the need to invest in two separate machines.
Pressing the vacuum pad picks up the load right away, eliminating the step of threading and removing slings.
The rotating arm combined with the rail line reaches multiple machines along the same route.
FullSharp reviews the sheet size, surface finish, and the weight of sling-rigged loads to select the vacuum pad and hoist size. We plan the rail route to follow your existing machine layout. Contact FullSharp to schedule a site survey.
