Pneumatic Jib Crane with Scrap Gripper

Scrap left over from machining is often sharp-edged, heavy and irregularly shaped. Workers lifting it by hand risk cuts and it takes extra manpower, while the scrap bin usually sits several meters from the machine.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic jib crane right next to where the scrap is generated, fitted with a dedicated gripper. The operator positions the gripper, closes it on the scrap, then swings the arm to drop it straight into the bin.

Equipment installed

Post and swing arm: a steel post anchored to the floor, with an arm that rotates around it to cover a fan-shaped work zone.
Pneumatic lifting unit: runs on compressed air so it produces no sparks, lifting and lowering smoothly and holding the load when released.
Scrap-handling gripper: two jaws that clamp firmly onto sharp-edged material, so the operator never has to touch the scrap directly.
Control handle: grip, release and lift/lower buttons grouped together for one-handed operation.
