A solid metal block is extremely heavy for its size - two workers carrying a workpiece over 100 kg already struggle. Its surface is often coated in oil, so slinging it with cable takes time, and dropping it can damage both the workpiece and the machine table.
FullSharp installs a 200 kg pneumatic jib crane fitted with a metal block clamping tool custom-made to the workpiece shape. The clamp bites into both sides of the block with pneumatic force, and the operator swings the arm to move the workpiece straight from the material rack onto the machine table.

Equipment Installed
- 200 kg rotating column: a steel structure engineered for the rated load, with the base bolted to the floor and the arm rotating around the axis.
- Metal block clamping tool: jaws shaped to the customer's workpiece, gripping firmly even when the surface is coated in oil.
- Pneumatic cylinder: creates stable clamping force and holds it steady throughout the lift.
- Pneumatic safety valve: keeps the jaws closed if pressure drops, preventing the workpiece from falling mid-lift.
- Control handle on the tool: clamp and release buttons within easy reach, making it easier to position the workpiece.

Benefits for Your Facility
Clamps Instead of Slinging
No need to wrap cable around the workpiece, saving several minutes per setup.
Safe with Heavy Workpieces
The valve holds clamping force during pressure loss, preventing the workpiece from falling onto feet or the machine table.
Handles Large Workpieces
A 200 kg capacity covers most solid metal blocks machined in a workshop.
