120kg Mobile Manipulator for Workpiece Clamping

Metal workpieces weighing hundreds of kilograms take two workers a long time to lift and align onto a machine. The workpieces are also slick with oil, so hand grips slip easily, and repeating this many times a shift wears down the back and shoulders.

FullSharp introduces a 120 kg pneumatic manipulator on a mobile base. The metal workpiece clamp head holds the part firmly while the arm carries the full weight, leaving the operator to simply guide and turn the workpiece into position.

Equipment installed

120 kg manipulator: the pneumatic arm carries the workpiece weight, so the operator only needs to guide it by hand.
Metal workpiece clamp head: pneumatic jaws grip the part firmly, even when the surface is coated in oil.
Rotating tool joint: turns and flips the workpiece on the spot to feed it into the machine fixture at the right angle.
Mobile base: counterweight and casters let one person roll it to another machine as needed, with a locking pin to hold it steady during work.
