What is Manhattan?

In many warehouses and production plants, lifting goods onto high shelves or into narrow gaps and recesses is a major challenge. Conventional forklifts and pallet trucks are often too bulky, hard to maneuver in limited space, and carry a risk of collisions and operator injury.

Manhattan (Mini-Truck) was developed to solve exactly this problem. With its compact vertical lifting column, Manhattan can lift from low to high and back, and move goods from one pallet to another, reaching positions a forklift cannot. Each unit is custom-designed by Lifts All for the specific load type, capacity, lifting height and working environment of each customer.

Compact vertical column

Manhattan uses a compact vertical lifting column with a small footprint, easily fitting into narrow spaces that forklifts cannot access.

Application-specific gripper

Depending on the load, Manhattan is fitted with a dedicated gripper: vacuum suction cups for carton boxes, mechanical jaws for rolls and blocks, or a clamping frame for bakery trays.

Effortless high lifting

The control handle adjusts to the height of the operator. The load becomes "weightless", reducing strain and back and shoulder injuries.

Application

The carton box gripper uses a vacuum cup that grips the box instantly, so boxes can be moved quickly and easily. The tool is designed specifically for small, confined work areas.

Manhattan replaces pallet trucks and forklifts because it can lift from high to low (and vice versa) and from one pallet to another – all without the need for wide aisles.
