Jib Crane, Rail Arm, COMEUP 1-Ton Hoist

A machining station handling loads up to a full ton cannot rely on manual lifting. Bringing in a full double-girder bridge crane just to serve one location, on the other hand, uses up structure and overhead space across the whole plant.

FullSharp's solution is a post-mounted jib crane with a rail-type arm, carrying a COMEUP 1-ton hoist. The post is fixed to the floor, a rotating joint lets the arm swing through an arc, and a trolley slides along the rail to adjust reach. One person can handle the full cycle of lifting, swinging, and lowering.

Equipment Installed

Steel post: bolted to the floor or wall-mounted, sized to withstand the bending moment when the arm carries a load at full reach.
Rail-type arm: lets the trolley travel along its length, so loads can be picked up either near the post or at the far end of the arm.
Rotating joint: swings the arm through an arc, covering the work area around the post without moving the machine.
COMEUP 1-ton hoist: fast, precise lifting and lowering, with pendant control for a single operator.
Travel end stops: keep the trolley within the rail's range, preventing overrun during quick operation.
