A machining station usually picks up and sets down parts around the same spot all day. Waiting for the plant's shared crane wastes time, while lifting by hand is heavy work and lacks precision.
FullSharp installs a fixed-base jib crane right at the station, its column bolted to the floor. The arm carries an electric hoist, so the operator presses the button to lift and swings the arm to move the part to the next spot.

Equipment Installed
- Fixed column and base: a steel base bolted to the concrete floor, withstanding the moment load when the arm carries a load.
- Rotating jib arm: swings around the column, covering a fan-shaped work area around the station.
- Electric hoist: lifts and lowers with an electric motor at a steady speed, controlled through a pendant button box.
- Arm trolley: moves the hoist in and out along the reach needed.
