Many plants only need to lift parts under a hundred kilograms, but repeat it all day long. Carrying by hand tires shoulders and puts loads down in the wrong spot, while a heavy steel frame on the floor just eats up walking space.

FullSharp installs a ceiling-mounted aluminum rail running along the work area and hangs a 100 kg air balancer from it. The lightweight aluminum rail lets the trolley slide with almost no resistance, so the operator only needs to push and the load follows.

Ceiling-Mounted Aluminum Rail with a 100 kg Air Balancer

Ceiling-mounted aluminum rail and 100 kg air balancer installed in the plant's work area.

Equipment installed

  • Ceiling-mounted aluminum rail: an extruded aluminum profile hung from the ceiling with threaded rods and brackets, lighter than a steel rail so it loads the structure less.
  • 100 kg air balancer: a pneumatic manipulator that keeps the load suspended, holding still when released and moving up or down with hand force.
  • Rail trolley: wheels running inside the aluminum rail, so a light push moves it the full length of the run.
  • Suspension and anchoring set: threaded rods, brackets and anchor bolts sized to the plant's actual ceiling structure.

Key specifications

  • Rail line capacity200 kg
  • Mounting typeCeiling-mounted

Benefits for the plant

Light to push

Low friction on the aluminum rail means one person's push carries the trolley the full run.

No floor space used

The whole system hangs from the ceiling, leaving machines and walkways below just as they are.

Accurate placement

The air balancer keeps the load suspended so the operator can judge the spot before lowering it.
