5T Ceiling Rail with Air Balancer & Hook Tool

Many machined parts already have lifting lugs or hook handles, but they're still too heavy for manual handling. Using an ordinary hoist makes the load swing, so an extra person is needed each time to hold it steady while setting it down.

FullSharp installed a 5T steel rail mounted on the ceiling, with an air balancer and hook tool hanging below it. The air balancer offsets most of the weight, so one worker can guide the direction and set the part down at exactly the right spot.

Equipment Installed

5T steel rail: a ceiling-mounted steel beam that handles heavy loads and covers the full length of the work line.

Hook tool: hooks onto the part's existing lug or handle for quick attachment and release.
Rail-riding trolley: carries the air balancer along the rail; a single push moves it into position.
