Metal parts and steel blanks are heavy, and many pieces have no holes or lifting eyes to attach a sling. Rigging cables every time is slow and risky, and hands still have to touch sharp edges when unloading.
FullSharp installed an aluminum rail jib crane with a KITO hand chain hoist, fitted with a lever-release lifting magnet on the hook. Flip the lever and the magnet grips the blank; flip it back and the load releases. The operator never has to touch the part directly, and the arm rotates 360 degrees to place the load anywhere around the work area.

Equipment Installed
- Aluminum rail jib arm: lightweight aluminum beam, rotates 360 degrees, with a trolley that glides smoothly under hand pressure.
- KITO hand chain hoist: raises and lowers by chain, with a self-locking brake that holds the load at any height.
- Lever-release magnet: a permanent magnet that grips and releases via a lever, needing no electricity so it never fails during a power outage.
- End stops on both ends of the rail: limit trolley travel and prevent it from running off the rail.
