Steel plates and metal parts are both heavy and sharp-edged, so rigging a sling takes time and can slip. It usually takes two workers to flip and load a plate onto the machine table. Every pick-up means threading and then removing the sling, over and over, all day.

FullSharp installed a pneumatic jib crane with a lever-operated magnetic tool: press the magnet face onto the plate, flip the lever to grip, flip it back to release. A force-sensing handle carries the weight, so one person alone can load the plate into the machine.

Equipment Installed

  • Lever-operated magnetic tool: grips and releases with a mechanical lever, needing no power supply, so it holds the load even during a power outage.
  • Pneumatic swing arm: a pneumatic joint balances the load, following the operator's hand and holding still when released.
  • Force-sensing handle: a sensor reads the operator's push and lifts or lowers accordingly, with no button pressing needed.
  • Air filter and safety valve assembly: filters moisture from the compressed air and holds the load if pressure drops.

Key Specifications

  • Load weight80 to 200 kg

Benefits for the Factory

Fast pick-up

No threading slings or hooking cables — press it on, flip the lever, and it lifts right away.

Safe around sharp edges

Hands never need to wrap around the steel plate, avoiding cuts and pinch injuries.

One-person operation

Work that used to need two people flipping a plate is now handled by one person within the arm's reach.
