Cleanrooms don't allow forklifts inside, and equipment must not generate dust or drop debris. Plastic trays are stacked high, so pulling one out from the bottom means unstacking and restacking the whole pile. Carrying trays by hand repeatedly is tiring and can easily shift the contents inside.

FullSharp installed a pneumatic crane on a ceiling-mounted rail, fitted with a plastic tray hook tool custom-built to the customer's exact tray design. The tool fits the tray's edge precisely, so it lifts each tray cleanly, moves it sideways, and lowers it into a new position without touching neighboring stacks.

Equipment Installed

  • Custom plastic tray hook tool: built to the exact edge and dimensions of the customer's tray, so it locks on firmly with no slipping.
  • Ceiling-mounted rail: a route following the cleanroom's work path, with no support columns on the floor.
  • Pneumatic arm assembly: balances the load pneumatically, so the operator only needs a light push to move the tray.
  • Sealed, smooth-finish surfaces: components with a smooth coating and minimal gaps, easy to clean to cleanroom standards.

Benefits for the Factory

Cleanroom-compatible

No fumes or oil like a forklift, and the equipment surface is easy to wipe down after each shift.

Picks the exact tray

The tool lifts a single tray cleanly, with no need to unstack and restack the whole pile.

No shifting of contents

Smooth motion and a tray that stays balanced mean the product inside is not disturbed.
