80 kg Pneumatic Jib Crane for Plastic Trays

Plastic trays are not especially heavy, but they still have to be lifted and set down continuously throughout the shift. Stacked trays sit above head height, forcing workers to reach up, which tires the arms and risks tipping the contents. The area also restricts electrical equipment at the point of operation.

FullSharp installed an 80 kg pneumatic jib crane fitted with a hook tool built specifically for plastic trays. Lifting runs entirely on compressed air, so it is quiet and has no electrical equipment at the point of operation. Hook the tray, flip the lever to lift it, then swing the arm to bring it to the stacking position.

Equipment Installed

Column and swing arm: sweeps the work zone between the tray pickup point and the stacking point, swinging freely by hand.
Pneumatic lifting mechanism: runs on the plant's compressed air, lifting smoothly and holding at any height.
Plastic tray hook tool: shaped to match the tray's rim and handle, engaging quickly and holding firm during lifting.
Control lever: mounted right on the tool, letting one hand control lifting, lowering, and stopping.
Load-holding valve: keeps the tray in place if air pressure drops, preventing it from falling.
