Pneumatic Manipulator with Mold Vacuum Lifter

Changing molds is the heaviest and most dangerous job of the shift. The mold is heavy, its surface slick with oil, and several workers must hold and align it into the machine together, so one slip of the hand can damage the mold face or crush a worker's hand.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic manipulator fitted with a mold vacuum lifter. The unit carries the load and holds the mold at the right height, so the worker only guides it into position and locks it, cutting mold-change time noticeably.

Equipment Installed

Manipulator body: a pneumatic cylinder balances the load, keeping the mold suspended when the worker lets go.
Mold vacuum lifter: suction pads grip the flat surface of the mold, no bolting or slinging needed.
Control handle: suction, release and lift/lower buttons sit right at the grip, all operated with one hand.
Vacuum hold valve: if pressure drops, the mold is still held long enough to lower it safely.
