Plastic trays have thin walls: grip too hard and they warp, too light and they slip. On the line, trays must be picked and stacked continuously, so doing it by hand is both slow and prone to scratching the product surface.

FullSharp installs a fixed-base pneumatic jib crane with a custom-designed plastic tray gripper. The arm swings around the post within its working radius, so it takes up no extra floor space. The pneumatic lifting mechanism runs smoothly, with control valves keeping the load steady while gripping.

Equipment Installed

  • Fixed-base post: bolted firmly to the floor, arm swings within the working area.
  • Pneumatic lifting mechanism: smooth lifting and lowering, no jolt when touching the tray.
  • Plastic tray gripper: jaws shaped to the tray profile, applying just enough pressure to hold without bending it.
  • Control valve system: simple operation with a built-in fail-safe to hold the load.

Benefits for Your Facility

Keeps trays intact

Clamping force is calculated by tray thickness, so trays don't warp or scratch.

Compact in tight spots

The fixed post takes up little floor space while the swing arm still covers the full working area.

Steady line rhythm

Picks and places trays consistently through the shift, independent of manual effort.

Consultation for Your Facility

FullSharp surveys the installation location, tray dimensions, and the line's operating rhythm. Our engineers design a dedicated gripper for the tray type and calculate the swing arm's reach. During installation, FullSharp adjusts the gripping force on site to match.
