The packaging area must move carton boxes between many tables and pallets throughout the shift. Carrying them by hand is slow, tires out workers, and often dents boxes when rushed, while the aisles aren't wide enough for a cart.
FullSharp installed a ceiling-mounted aluminum rail running along the work area, carrying a Lifts All vacuum lifter. The operator presses the pad onto the box, lifts it, and pushes it along the rail; the aluminum rail slides so smoothly that it takes almost no effort.

Equipment Installed
- Ceiling-mounted aluminum rail: a light extruded aluminum rail with a plastic-wheeled trolley that runs very smoothly inside it.
- Lifts All vacuum lifter: the suction tube extends and contracts with hand pressure, so lifting, lowering, and releasing the box are all done from the handle.
- Carton box lifting pad: grips the sealed top of the box, with suction area sized to the box's weight.
- Hanger set and threaded rods: anchored into the roof structure, with hanging points spaced evenly so the rail doesn't sag.
