Where the floor was too tight for a jib crane post, FullSharp hung a model 5T light rail from the ceiling along the exact working line and fitted a KITO hand chain hoist on a trolley for loads around 100 kg. Pulling the chain lifts the load, a light push slides it along the rail, and the floor below stays completely clear.

This area only needs to lift around 100 kg along a short run, but the floor is too tight to install a jib crane post. A makeshift winch or a hoist hooked onto an improvised steel bar is unsafe and cannot travel along the line.

FullSharp installed a ceiling-mounted model 5T light rail along the exact working line and fitted a KITO hand chain hoist running on a trolley. Pulling the chain lifts the load, and a gentle push slides the hoist along the rail. The entire load rests on the ceiling structure, so the workshop floor stays clear.

  • Model 5T rail: light-duty steel rail rated for 200 kg, ceiling-mounted with threaded rods and hanger brackets, extendable along the line.
  • Rail trolley: wheels grip the rail flange, sliding smoothly with a gentle push and staying put wherever it stops.
  • 100 kg KITO hand chain hoist: raised and lowered by hand chain, with a self-locking brake that holds the load at any height.
  • Rail end stops: stoppers at both ends of the rail keep the trolley from running past its travel range.
