Goods travel repeatedly along the same route between the warehouse and the production line. Using a cart means lifting the load up and setting it down again at both ends. The aisle is sometimes blocked by pallets, so a forklift cannot get through.

FullSharp installs a 5T rail running the full length of that route, with a rated load of 200 kg, suited to trays, bins and hand-sized parts. An electric hoist controlled by a pendant hangs from the rail. The load is lifted once and travels straight to the other end.

5T Rail with Electric Hoist Running Along a Plant Route

5T rail with an electric hoist running along a transport route inside the plant.

Equipment Installed

  • 5T steel rail: FullSharp's rail section, rated load 200 kg, extended along the transport route.
  • Rail suspension system: threaded rods and mounting plates fixed to the roof trusses, spaced evenly so the rail doesn't sag.
  • Electric hoist: motor-driven lifting and lowering, with a brake that holds the load when stopped mid-travel.
  • Rail trolley: rolls smoothly along the route, moving with the load with just a light push.
  • End stops: limit the travel section, keeping the trolley from running past the rail ends.

Benefits for Your Facility

One lift only

The load goes onto the rail and travels straight to its destination, with no repeated lifting and lowering along the way.

No blocked aisles

The route runs overhead, so pallets or carts on the floor don't get in the way.

Consistent operation

The trolley and hoist run along a fixed route, keeping the repeated motion very steady.

Installation Consultation for Your Facility

FullSharp walks the current transport route to measure the rail length, mounting height and load-bearing truss positions. Technicians weigh the actual load, count the operations per shift, then select the hoist and lifting speed to match. After the survey, you receive a rail route drawing along with the installation schedule.
