FullSharp installed a slewing jib crane with a vacuum tube lifter powered by a Becker suction motor in a loading area where workers bent and twisted to stack cartons hundreds of times a shift. The operator presses the head onto the box, the box lifts and follows the hand, and the arm carries it to the pallet in seconds.

The customer's loading area handles carton boxes throughout the shift, with workers bending to hug each box, then twisting to place it on a pallet. Repeated hundreds of times per shift, this quickly strains the back and leads to misplaced stacking. Boxes bumping into each other also tear the carton corners.

FullSharp installed a slewing jib crane with a vacuum tube lifter powered by a Becker suction motor. The operator presses the suction head onto the box surface, presses a button, and the box lifts and follows the hand. The slewing arm carries the box across to the pallet without any lifting or carrying, setting it down gently so goods stay undamaged.

Equipment Installed

  • Jib crane: the arm rotates around a column, covering the work area between the conveyor and the pallet position.
  • Vacuum lifting tube: a flexible bellows tube that stretches with suction force, lifting and holding the load by vacuum alone.
  • Becker suction motor: runs continuously with stable airflow, so suction never drops mid-cycle.
  • Suction head for carton boxes: a soft pad wraps over the box lid, holding firmly without denting or crushing the carton.
  • Control handle: a lift/lower lever sits right on the suction head, letting one hand control the whole cycle while holding the load.
