Mobile Manipulator with Custom Gripper Tool

Not every load has a handle or a flat surface for hooking or suction. For products with an unusual shape, workers often have to hold them by hand, which is heavy and prone to slipping. The work location also changes with each order, so fixed equipment isn't practical.

FullSharp built a gripper tool custom-designed to match the exact shape of the product, then mounted it on a pneumatic manipulator on a mobile base. The gripper holds the right spot securely, compressed air carries the weight, and the mobile base lets the whole unit roll to another area.

Equipment Installed
