Mobile Pneumatic Manipulator, 200 kg Capacity

The customer needed to lift parts weighing 50 to 200 kg, but the work location changed with each order. Doing it by hand took two or three workers to carry, while a fixed jib crane would need drilling into the ceiling or pouring a foundation, only to be moved again the following month.

FullSharp installed a pneumatic manipulator on a mobile base, with no need to attach to the factory's structure. The pneumatic cylinder carries most of the weight, and the operator only needs to guide the direction with a light push. When the process changes, the whole unit rolls to the new spot and is ready to use right away.

Equipment Installed

Mobile base: a steel frame with wheels and outriggers, pushed to relocate and lowered onto the outriggers to stand firm while working.
Pneumatic manipulator assembly: the cylinder balances the load, with the operator raising and lowering it by handle, using very little hand force.
Control handle: raise and lower valves are right on the handle, operated one-handed while keeping eyes on the load.
Arm-end tool: selected to match the shape of the load, and swappable when the customer changes products.
