Low profile jib cranes

Overview

Knight low profile jib cranes use a single rotating rail on a floor-mounted pedestal where an overhead crane system does not fit. Four models range from light duty MJBA2050 to heavy duty MJBA2700.

Knight’s Low Profile Jib Cranes are ergonomically designed to accommodate workstations where ceiling heights are inconvenient for an overhead crane system. This series offers a large tool coverage area with a single rotating rail on a floor-mounted pedestal.

Knight’s Jib Cranes can also be designed with the new Air Glide Hose Management system. See the page here for additional information.

The MJBA2050 is typically used in applications that require light duty tools to be suspended.

The MJBA2300 and MJBA2600 Low Profile Jib Cranes have an adjustable hard stop and a level adjustment screw used to adjust the pitch of the rail. They are considered Medium Duty Jib Cranes.

The MJBA2700 Heavy Duty Low Profile Jib Crane is designed to accommodate heavier loads.

Knight's MRES4322 Telescoping Rail travels along the RAD4110 Series Rail. The MRES4322 provides an extended reach beyond the working limits of the bridge. DetailsKnight's newest product, the (patent pending) AIR GLIDE HOSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a revolutionary new product designed to eliminate the hanging of festooning / air lines / hoses on aluminum rail. The Air Glide can be used with Knight's RAD4110, RAD6110, and RAD7510 series rail and it can be attached to any runway or bridge rail. It can also be designed to fit with other manufacturers' rail. The Air Glide has a significant advantage over coiled hose options as it minimizes pullback force. Zone limits, end of travel switches and rail brakes can be used with the Air Glide System as well.
